You're at a store, in this case the $1 book store, and there's a book you see that you want but someone else has it. While speaking among themselves they say they don't really want it. And just when you ask if you can have it they change their mind and take it anyway?

I saw this 1980s Strawberry Shortcake book the oldest one with totally off model drawings even by the cartoon's standards. This lady just grabbed it because I'd expressed interest in it. You know it's so weird for a 20 something like me to want a book like that. I know that it will probably be one week at most before that kid realizes OMG it's the the current SBSC and gets bored with it since it's chocked full of morals instead of strawberry themed cellphones et all. *sigh*

So it's the weekend...any of you have plans?

Oh I hate it when that happens. People taking something just because you want it. The only reason they do that isn't because they want it, they just have some sick selfish pleasure of getting their way.

Same thing kinda happened to my friend with a collector doll. But what happened was she wasn't sure if she wanted to get it, we leave for 5 minutes. Come back and see a little 6 year old leave with it. It annoyed us so much. A 6 year old playing with a collectors item. It's probably in some closet now naked and her hair chopped off just like a barbie doll. Sad sad. Good thing is, years later she found another one and got it.

I found it ironic because these same people were speaking about how christian they were...just before this.

But yeah, maybe another copy of the book will show up. I did find a degenerate popples knock off called the itsy bitsys but passed on it.

ah really? I think people when talking about how religious they are tend to forget that they themselves are only just human. I'm christian, but even I admit that I have faults. I'm no better than anyone else.
And I'm not really one to go blabbing about "how" christian I am. I like to respect others views and religions...and who knows maybe I'd disrepect someone.

*rolls eyes* Reminds me of those jesus bumper stickers, if you see one on a car...they most definatly speed. Seriously it's almost like an oxymoron of sorts.

Ah well another day another book. You'll find a good one yet!

Right, I have no problem with the faith myself, it's really more of the people that go around claiming to be a part of it when their behavior really doesn't represent it at all. I've dealt with quite a few of those sorts of churches and groups and it really turned me off to the whole thing.

Eh, maybe, maybe not because she just threw it down on the floor but still was hovering over it and they could see me occasionally glancing at that direction. It's a certain area and people are a bit odd over here.
